Belt Shop founder Gord McIntosh has been splicing belts since 1963 and remains actively involved in the process. Pulley lagging is the rubber covering that's applied to a steel drive pulley for added traction in order to drive the conveyor belt. We provide high quality pulley lagging for conveyor belts that operate under heavy loads due to incline and long centre distances carrying heavy loads.
We offer a range of fast and effective belt repair services, including belt shortening, belt lacing replacements and removal of holes and damaged sections of conveyor belting.
As a service to all of our clients, we provide complimentary plant belt surveys. In order for us to respond to your emergency belt situations quickly and effectively, we make note of your belt type, belt dimensions and the splice required. We are glad to offer this service in order to minimize the possibility of miscommunication when it comes time for belt replacements and repairs so that your business is properly served and equipped.
For belt services, we offer on-site belt splicing, shop or factory endless belts, belts prepared for (hot or cold) vulcanizing, belts by bulk roll or cut to length, C/W Flexco belt lacing or custom made with V-Guides, cleats or vacuum holes.
Our timing belts are supplied with or without special covers and profiles for your individual conveyor belt needs.
